SÁNCHEZ CARRERO ARQUITECTOS (SCA) is a team of architecture and urban design professionals, located in the city of Seville in southern Spain.
SCA’s staff members, which are experts in urban planning and architecture, are professionals with diverse and extensive experience in every aspect of the design and construction process.
We have worked continuously from our office in Seville since 1994 in projects throughout Spain. and since 2010 we have expanded operations to foreign countries.

COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT
SCA is aware and prepared to assume its share of the responsibility for tackling one of the most important tasks that we will all have to manage and solve in the present time, namely that of population growth in urban concentrations, which will place added pressure on infrastructures and facilities, which will have to support many more people, with the corresponding consumption, adding the obligation not to increase the environmental impact.
This is a challenge for older, inefficient buildings (today’s buildings consume about 40 percent of the energy of most countries), but also for new buildings.
The answer lies in energy efficiency.
SCA is convinced that securing the future depends to a large extent on its development being based on sustainability and competitiveness, rationalizing the use of natural resources and energy, and minimizing as far as possible the impact that activities have on the environment.
The benefits of energy efficiency include: reduction of operating costs (product manufacturing or service provision), improvement of the competitiveness of companies, maintenance or improvement of the level of comfort, reduction of the energy bill, reduction of polluting emissions, improvement of equipment performance and increase of the useful life of buildings and their equipment.
Through our proposals and projects, we apply the best environmental, social and economic practices that benefit our clients and society as a whole.
Since 2008 we have designed and/or executed several «green» or efficient buildings, with the highest energy rating, such as: the administrative headquarters of the Delegation of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport in Malaga; the indoor swimming pool of the Faculty of Sports Sciences of the University of Granada; and the indoor swimming pool of Torre del Mar, in Velez-Malaga (Malaga).
SCA is a collaborating company of the Andalusian Energy Agency’s Program for the Promotion of Sustainable Construction in Andalusia.
SÁNCHEZ CARRERO ARQUITECTOS ha presentado a la prensa un nuevo proyecto. En esta ocasión se trata de un edificio de piscina cubierta a construir en las instalaciones del Club Nazaret, entidad referente en el ámbito deportivo, cultural y familiar de la ciudad de Jerez de la Frontera.
La Piscina Cubierta de la Facultad del Deporte de Granada no para de darnos satisfacciones.
Los investigadores que trabajan con ella están sacándole gran beneficio científico para la natación y otros deportes acuáticos, para el bien de la comunidad nacional e internacional.
